No matter how old you are, you are always at risk for suffering from acne. If your acne is hormonal, chances are you’ll also suffer from cystic acne, which is generally more difficult to get rid of than typical acne vulgaris. Cystic acne is formed like regular acne, except it enlarges your pore and digs down into the lower layers of the epidermis, leaving a hard, puss or blood-filled nodule in your back, face, or chest. If this describes your acne, you need to find a cystic acne treatment before your skin begins to scar.

It comes highly recommended from dermatologists and is soft on your skin, but tough on the cysts and zits. It uses salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide, so you get the best of both worlds when it comes to chemicals that are very effective on cystic acne.
2. Sulfur treatment cream: Proactiv carries one of the best sulfur cystic acne treatments I know of. You can generally get it for free if you buy one of the their kits, as it comes as a bonus. The Proactiv kit, by the way, is also great for dealing with cystic acne, as it comes with several benzoyl peroxide treatments in different forms.
3. Holistic acne cyst treatment: The most effective acne treatment is usually an internal one, such as an acne diet or a change in food habits. This is especially crucial for cystic acne, which is harder to get rid of by using topical treatments alone.
